From: ds.ign.com/articles/702/702198p1.htmlApril 18, 2006 - Sell, sell! Today the NPD group reported that U.S. videogame sales declined in March by 8%. March saw the industry generate the paltry sum of $499 million dollars. Microsoft's new baby, Xbox 360, was responsible for $96 million of the total sales. Overall, hardware sales fell 31% to $220 million. Topping the software sales list was Disney-Square festooned RPG Kingdom Hearts II for the PS2. Xbox 360 titles rounded out the top three. UbiSoft's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was the second-best seller, followed by Take-Two's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Said one NPD videogame analyst and all around nay-sayer, "Things are likely to get worse before they get better."
